Dana White talks UFC on FX 5, explains Jeremy Stephens' absence
Posted on October 6, 2012, 07:25 AM by Anton GurevichUFC President Dana White shared thoughts about last night's UFC on FX 5 fight card in Minneapolis, Minnesota. White admitted that Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva has now moved up in the UFC Heavyweight division, somewhat hinting at the possible encounter with Stefan Struve, who recorded his biggest victory so far inside the Octagon at last weekend's UFC on Fuel TV main event clash with Stipe Miocic.
White also discussed Jeremy Stephens arrest, and Dennis Hallman's release from the promotion.

Is it just me or does someone else think Bigfood is kinda overrated and actually just lucked out in some fights.
He's always gonna be dangerous, and he did manhandle Fedor which is no mean feat, but you saw what Cain did to him.
Annihilation.
JDS would do the same and probably the Reem too. I'd take Bigfoot against Struve, Barry, Hunt, though
The Cain fight might have been very different if BF wasn't effectively blinded so early. I personally thing that he could beat JDS and Reem too but only on a perfect night. Struve is the guy I see him fighting next and that is a very bad fight for Struve. BF is better and stronger on the ground and is IMHO the better striker as well. I think its gonna get real squatchy in the cage for Struve that night.

Surely if he was able to defend and avoided getting his face smashed in this would not have happened?
Who overrates him?
No. He dominated the first round of his fight with Werdum (Vai Cavalo didn't beat BF, BF's cardio beat BF), out boxed Arlovski for three rounds, BEAT FEDOR and before fighting Cormier had only lost a very early stoppage to Eric Pele in a fight he was winning and a decision to Werdum. The only question about Silva is his which chin he is wearing. The guy is going to crush the majority of the fighters he faces in the UFC.
