Speaking post-fight at UFC 154 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, UFC President Dana White remained optimistic about having a superfight between Georges St. Pierre and Anderson "The Spider" Silva. According to White, there's a good chance that this fight will happen, most likely at the famous Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

White also spoke about his promotion's plans for 2013, and some of the other hot topics in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. Ronda Rousey and Strikeforce were also in the mix during the scrum, as White once again noted that the UFC are yet to do any long-term planning for a women's division.

On GSP vs. Silva (www.mmamania.com):

"There are a lot of guys in line right for title shots at 170 and 185. But, we're trying to make this super fight happen so we'll see how it goes.... I agree [the middleweight and welterweight divisions are stacked right now]. It's the number one pound-for-pound best fighter in the world against the number two pound-for-pound best fighter in the world. It's a big fight, we think people want to see it and we think the guys want to do it. So, we'll do it. Who knows, maybe we go into this thing and Georges St. Pierre says absolutely not. But. I just don't see that happening."

I've always dreamed of the GSP Silva fight but to be honest I think as crazy as that fight is, there's some WW business that needs to be taken care of first.

Johnny Hendricks has made one of the strongest title shot claims in UFC history, what he's in the UFC (par the weird/one off loss to Story) has been nothing short of amazing.

    Give the beard it's due!!!!

mannnn yeah if there has ever been a contender its Hendricks...he isnt

as load or as flashy but has insane wrestling pedigree heavy hand is a

huge threat to GSP if you watch the fights and how John fights it is a great match up other than that GSP would be fight rematches it should be Hendricks/GSP...Silva /Jones in Dallas stadium and if GSP crushes Hendricks then ok ....I think it would be great and he deserves

    it its what should happen

Word I hate Dana white. He just wants to see $$. I do not want to see Silva vs gsp when both fighters have not cleared there divisions. It is stupid one of them looses and there belt doesn't mean shit anymore. the fight solves nothing just more money for dana whites fat ass.

Your not the only fan out there. I would rather see Silva v GSP because I think GSP could take Silva down but at the same time Silva could avoid enough take downs over 5 rounds to finish. A fight to me means it's competitive, most fans who want to see Jones v Silva want to see Jones Smash Silva or vice versa. I actually think Jones would take Silva down and seriously hurt him, so from my point of view I as a fan stand a better chance of seeing a COMPETITIVE fight(which is rare when watching Silva,GSP and Jones) if Silva fights GSP.

I think Silva got only first and second round to finish GSP, if GSP survive he will grind out the win.

Most thought Condit would outstrike GSP standing yet GSP's timing was better than Condit. Against Silva he's physically disadvantaged but imagine if GSP outstruck Silva. After seeing how good he was against Condit I think at WW GSP owns Silva for sure, at MW Silva prob finishes GSP at catchweight who knows.

Not to diss Hendricks but I think he needs 1 more fight, yeah he KO Fitch and Martin in less than 1 min but I just think he needs one more fight, personally I think he should fight Diaz then the winner gets the shot, other option could be Mike Swick, this just because Swick was on the verge on getting a shot back when he lost to Hardy, yes he's been out for long but could make sense..or Condit, isn't he the #2 guy?to get to the top guy you gotta be the #2 guy 1st,just saying.

Dude please.... hendricks is the undisputed Nr.1 contender without a doubt... he DESTROYED two of the TOP 5 guys... (including Fitch who was ranked 2nd in the WW division.) what else is left for him to prove? GSP vs Hendricks needs to happen PERIOD!
