I'm sorry, I agree with your sentiment but that line stuck me as extremely corny.
To each their own - the sentiment is all that matters.

as for my comments about hendo, i've been a fan of the sport for a long time, i'm not here to preach how much kudos i'm entitled to but i am entitled to my opinion on fighters i like or dislike...i've even critisised fighters i DO like.

Some guys say things like a badass and some try to say things to sound badass. Dan is the first.
Henderson is still a big threat. yes is is alot older and slower, but try do what he does at his age. He has been one of the true icons in MMA history. he deserves everyones respect and to earn a shot this late in his career only shows how talented he still is. I like henderson and jones, looking forward tot his one!

I like Hendo but cant see a way he can even touch Jon Jones. I think the fight wont go beyond round 2 but i'll be happy if it does. Not a very exciting match up IMO.

Dan Henderson will be much more aggressive to keep the distance close to Jon Jones than either Rashad or Rampage did. They didn't put on the sustained pressure that Dan will (at least until he gases). That's the one issue that I'm seeing with Dan getting older. Either Dan does his thing within a couple of rounds (and gets the upset TKO) or he gases and gets TKOed himself later in the fight.
You can only cheat Father Time so far.

I really want Hendo to win. I just don't see him being able to take out Jones. We know Jones can take a punch. Lyoto landed hard and so did Rashad and Jones shrugged it off. Hendo might hit harder than those two but not much. Jon Jones (unfortunately) via third round tko or possibly decision.
Lyoto has never been considered a "hard puncher" (at least as far as I'm concerned), and the same goes for Rashad…
Rampage on the other hand rocked Jones good once, but to be honest, time has been a lot rougher on Page than Hendo.
I don't think Hendo has a great (or even a good) chance to beat JBJ, but goddamn am I rooting for him! And he's right, NO ONE has punched JBJ harder than Hendo will… mark my words. ;)

Why? Because he has had recent success with the right? There are plenty of guys he hasn't KOd as well. He could KO Jones but it won't be with the first right and I don't see him landing enough. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.
I really like hendo he is one of the greatest. he took out fedor thats a huge plus. he battled shogun, this will be a good fight just slowly slow down jones and use that H BOMB

I laugh at comments like that. If you are lucky enough to make it to 40, your mouth will shut pretty quickly. Those are simply young guy replies which will be out lived shortly. You start to realize things when you hit your late 30's
All I need to say is Shogun vs Hendo... Jones murdered and FINISHED Shogun.. Hendo couldn't finish Shogun. Hendo is getting old yes and he gases faster then Jones does. I see Jones taking out Hendo. I don't really see anyone in the LW division causing a problem for Jones unless it's Rashad Evans.
