Countdown to UFC 148: Main Card Bouts (Full Video)
Posted on July 4, 2012, 05:59 AM by Anton GurevichWe are just three days away from one of the biggest cards in UFC history, headined by the long-anticipated rematch between Anderson "The Spider" Silva and Chael Sonnen. UFC 148 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, co-headlined by Tito Ortiz's retirement bout in a trilogy scrap with Forrest Griffin.
Also on the card, former UFC Middleweight title challenger Demian Maia faces Dong-Hyun Kim in his Welterweight debut, while another former Middleweight title challenger, Patrick "The Predator" Cote, returns to the Octagon against Cung Le.
UFC 148 features two former champions (Ortiz and Griffin), and four former title challengers (Chael Sonnen, Patrick Cote, Demian Maia, Chad Mendes). Unlike any other UFC cards, UFC 148 has a six-fight main card format, with Ivan Menjivar fighting Mike Easton in night's opener.

Watching cung less kicks is awesome.
Hopefully Damien Maia will be ok with the weight cut. Dong Hyan Kim was able to beat nate Diaz by decision so he may be a favourite in this fight if he can keep it on the feet. If it goes to the mat its Maia.
I wish forrest and ortiz was a 5 rounder....lets sort this triology out.

Cung Le fights like a video game character, and thats awesome!
I respect Forrest and Tito but I can't say I'm excited for their fight.
I found their last two fights missing any real climax.
Guess it's kind of a good good bye fight though considering I can't see either fighter getting really hurt.
Cote is on a 4 fight winning streak that's awesome - Cung should be an interesting match up- I mean the dude combs his hair with his feet
