Conor McGregor Says Dennis Siver Is A ‘Midget German Steroid-Head’

The UFC 178 Q&A went down last night (Aug. 5, 2014) from the Nokia Center in Los Angeles, California, and was somewhat anticlimactic from the happenings the day prior. During the promotion’s media day stop in the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier had got the fight started early.

With all the fireworks of Vegas in the back of our minds, we watched very much toned down versions of ‘DC’ and ‘Bones’ last night at the Q&A. One fella who was his usual chirpy self, Conor McGregor, had plenty of fun stuff to say. Check out what ‘The Notorious’ said during last night’s festivities:

This is who I am,” McGregor said. “I like to look good and whoop ass. It’s what I do best. I’m not trying to be nobody but me and on Sept. 27, I’ll rip Dustin’s head clean off. It makes no difference that it’s a little pea head. Dustin’s all talk. Dustin thinks it’s all talk, but when he wakes up with his nose plastered on the other side of his face, he’s going to know it’s not all talk.”

A lot of chatter surrounding McGregor’s hype is focused on his ranking, being ranked at number nine, after not having actually beaten a ranked fighter. ‘The Notorious’ was asked about Dennis Siver, who recently complained about McGregor filling the number nine spot (one in front of the German kickboxer):

My thoughts on Dennis Siver are: He’s a midget German steroid head,” McGregor said. “That’s my thoughts on him, so I don’t have any thoughts other than that. … But if you think I celebrate No. 9, you’re highly mistaken my friend. I don’t give a s–t about rankings. As far as I’m concerned, I’m No. 1. And when Dustin’s head clatters off that canvas, they’ll realize. They’ll realize pretty soon.”

Don’t get me wrong; I like the kid,” McGregor said of ‘Diamond’ “He’s a quiet little hillbilly from the back-ass of nowhere. I’ve nothing against the guy. I’m sure he grew up in a circus or a farm. He’s a nice little kid. His cousin is probably named Cletus or something. His chin is deteriorating,” McGregor said of Poirier. “Every single contest he gets in, he hits one knee. A gust of wind, and he does the chicken dance. Coming up against me, that’s not going to be good.”

McGregor may just be the wittiest trash talker in all of MMA now that Chael Sonnen is gone, and a win over Poirier would likely cement his place in at least two huge subsequent fights. Not only for the rankings, but also because he pissed so many guys off during his rise. Cub Swanson, Chad Mendes, Jose Aldo and many more have been publicly blasted by the Dublin native for quite some time now.

What do you think, will the top five prove that McGregor is all talk, or will ‘The Notorious’ keep on living up to his words, and smash ‘Diamond’ on September 27?
