Chandler vs. Jansen, King Mo vs. Petruzelli Set For Bellator 96

Bellator has just recently announced it’s return to Winstar Casino for a stacked card featuring a Lightweight title affair between undefeated Michael Chandler and Dave Jansen. Chandler (11-0) won the Bellator 155 strap with a fight of the year performance against Eddie Alvarez, and has since defended it against Akihiro Gono and Rick Hawn. Dave Jansen is riding a six fight win streak with his most recent win coming over Marcin Held at Bellator 93.

The show will also feature the start of the LHW tournament and featured on the card is Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal vs. Seth Petruzelli. Mo was last seen in action getting his clock cleaned by heavy underdog Emmanuel Newton at Bellator 90 via spinning back fist. His opponent, Seth Petruzelli, will also look to bounce back from a TKO loss at the hands of Jacob Noe at Bellator 85. Noe will also compete on the card against veteran Renato ‘Babalu’ Sobral.

Sobral was last seen in action against Mikhail Zaiyats at Bellator 85 getting separated from his waking state by a spinning back fist. He will look to bounce back against Jacob Noe, who also fell to the Sambo champ Zayats at Bellator 90. Noe holds an 11-2 record in MMA with his most notable win against Petruzelli.

War Machine will look to continue his run of form to two fights following his barn burner against Roger Huerta as he squares off against Blas Avena. Bellator always provides exciting fights and this card sounds like one to watch! Stay tuned to Lowkick!
