Chael Sonnen says Dan Henderson one of his TUF coaches
Posted on November 1, 2012, 11:09 PM by Andreas HaleIf Dan Henderson had any resentment towards Chael Sonnen for getting picked to face Jon Jones over him, he's apparently over it. 
Sonnen told MMA Junkie that he expects for Henderson to be one of his coaches opposite Jon Jones on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. Not only that, but he says that Henderson will corner Sonnen when he faces Jones on April 27.
This means that there is no bad blood between Sonnen and Henderson and the former middleweight suggests that they are on great terms. "You've got to understand, what Dan and I have got is like the military," Sonnen said. "Our gym has got an order, and Dan is one of the coaches. He's above me. I don't talk back to Dan, and if Dan wants to say something, that would be the way it is."
Meanwhile, Henderson has yet to show up for filming and spoke via text to MMA Fighting about Sonnen's proclamation.
"Not sure," Henderson said when asked of the possibility. "If he wants me there, I'm sure I would be there."
It will be bittersweet for Henderson considering that he was slated to face Jones for the 205 title in September before having to pull out due to injury. Instead of the fight being rescheduled for a later date, Sonnen was given the opportunity despite coming off of a loss at middleweight to Anderson Silva and not having a fight at 205 against a top contender. Either way, Sonnen considers Henderson a mentor and both have stated that there are no hard feelings.
Meanwhile, Henderson will look towards a possible showdown with Lyoto Machida to see who will face the winner of Jones-Sonnen.

**** yeah! Chael Sonnen VS. Jones! That shit is exciting. Both two of my favorite fighters. Seems like Chael with humility could be an awesome thing to see.. Or once again Jones will adapt and slaughter! Can't wait!
I wonder how far the "military order" would last if Dan said "my knee feels great, let me have your spot against Jones?"
Still, kudos to Chael for staying loyal to Dan, even though Hendo talked some trash about him the shot at Jones.
I dont know why some of the people above are disrespecting Dan. he was offered a shot after earning it, got injured which is very unfortunate then finds out Jones is injured after his fight and is looking at making a return towards the same time as Dan and then gets told a loud mouth is having an automatic title shot in his weightclass debut. Im sorry but Dan deserves it more and he has proved this. still looking forward to Jones vs Chael but not the right fight.
Hendo and Sonnen can teach "Dry Humping 101" on the first episode.
