Love him or hate him, his gym has produced fighters. I dont much care for Maynerd anyways. If Melendez dismantled Maynerd, it would send a pretty clear message regarding El Nino.
Gray Maynard isn't a great match for Melendez at all in my opinion!!! Makes no sense to ask for that!
If El Nino wins then he beat Maynard, a tough durable dude but so what?
If he loses he falls behind Edgar, Pettis AND Maynard.
Asking for Pettis makes much more sense.
