Cain Velasquez responds to Tyson Fury: You got to work your way up in the ladder

UFC Heavyweight champion has finally “tweeted back” at Tyson Fury’s ridiculous call-outs.

Cain Velasquez revealed he never heard about about Tyson Fury, but would be open for any type of match-up if the Heavyweight boxer moves to the UFC and works his way up in the ranks. The champ rejected the possibility of an exhibition fight with Fury, once again emphasizing his comments on the existing food chain the UFC Heavyweight division.

Velasquez might learn the identity of his next opponent at next month’s UFC 156, when Alistair Overeem and Antonio Silva go toe-to-toe inside the Octagon.

One of the nicest dudes in the UFC.

    • azzkika

The dude thinks he is a N****R FFS. Needs help IMO.

    • David Saucier

azzkicka come on man you know that word is not appropriate here.

  • Brian Cox

If Tyson Fury came to Dana White and asked for a fight with Cain or whomever The UFC HW Champ was, he'd laugh. If he really had a sense of humor, he'd allow it, so we could all have a good laugh.

The discussion of this is a complete joke. Any HW in the division, let alone The Champion, would wipe the floor with the guy. This point has been proven already and by the oldest, smallest veteran The UFC had to offer.

On another note, my God that girl in the Noise Bot add, wearing the "i pooped today" t-shirt is hot.

    • Zip

Yeah she's hot. But the poop thing, just can't get past it,,,

      • Brian Cox

Yes, I know. I don't get the shirt or the slogan (rather) either, but man she is HOT!!!

We agree on everything, Zip. Even women and t-shirts. LOL!!

        • Zip

          Looks like we do. LOL.

          • Bruce Lee

yeah, I really dig women who put on a shirt that is one size too small and pull their shoulders back till their clavicles almost dislocate; makes their "Poop" stand out more.

          • Brian Cox

            @ Michael

I take it you know what photo and girl, we are talking about. Tell me she isn't hot, man. And I'm all for the one size, too small t-shirt and adjusted posture. Correct or otherwise.

Dana should let Tyson fight a MW just to rub it in when he gets demolished, and its self promotion that fury is doing look how many mma fans know who this guy is now, he is just lining up some bigger pay days for himself.

  • enjoylife321

Tyson Fury is just trying to get a name for himself off the back of Cain recent success…

He knows UFC is the fastest growing sport and he wants to create a bad ass image for himself to sell more PPV when he fights….This is just a stunt, he has no intention of fighting in UFC. Its just hot water.. this was just free marketing for tyson Fury but he ends up looking like a dick.

    • Brian Cox

      @ enjoy

"I didn't know who he was until this…"

I think that about sums it up. Cain should put it on a t-shirt.

      Tyson Fury, who?

      • enjoylife321

@MMA Truth…..Maybe Tito can print the shirts, he would only want 90%.

  • DKMcGrath

Fury vs Barry Pat Barry would smash him..

  • 511sobol

if i was dana i would offer him a fight with cain for a 1 million doller payday but only in win money if he agree to that i will cut my arm off and im sure cain will take that offer in a heart beat.
fury you are a shit boxer and you will get owned by the ufc top fighter all of them so f u ck off you big champ ion you.

  • gm1

Tyson Fury= another zero from the outside trying to get attention from the inside.
If he was so good he would be fighting top tier talent, but oh yeah…he is nobody….

    • azzkika

20-0 with 14 KOs is not a nobody. In MMA terms he is irrelevant I agree but he is a top 5 HW boxer who has steadily improved and who knows, if he makes the switch to MMA we already know he has great hands.

  • KeithFarrell

Cain's right, Fury tried to get his name out there by being controversial and he did it,

It's a shame the media is making Cain respond to this and even worse they are asking Cain if he would take the fight or make Fury climb the ladder… sounds silly but putting Cain in that position and Cain giving the obvious answer of he has to work his way up gives Fury something to to go off.

Hopefully this is the last we hear for it

    • Brian Cox

      @ Keith

The sad reality of it is, that addressing this in any manner gives it and Fury credence. He / any Champ should have one pat answer for this question…I have no idea who or what you are talking about. Just refuse to acknowledge it in any way. Even if a reported is stupid enough to waste his time phrasing, re-phrasing or edifying Cain to the question, he should simply say…no idea as to what you are talking about. Never engage it. For doing so, gives something for Fury to come back with. Now, Fury can talk about his ladder…blah, blah, blah. Who cares?

      No discussion. No controversy.

      • azzkika

Which is why you are responding to it then truth?

  • saulgood

Let him fight Big Country. Watch that fool get his face smashed in a crucifix.
