Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones, & Ronda Rousey Hang Out Backstage At WWE Summerslam

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar had a rather abrupt ending to his time as a mixed martial artist, after Diverticulitis struck him down in the midst of his TUF 13 booking against Junior dos Santos. Out of action for over a year, Lesnar returned to face Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. Clearly Brock was not the same fighter, and the ugly first round TKO sent the former champion packing.

Retiring from MMA and returning to the WWE where he had made his name, Lesnar and MMA seemed to be done for good. That said, there has been a lot of hype lately about a potential return to fighting, and the controversial former champ is still linked to the sport in many ways. In fact, light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones was seen chilling backstage after the recent WWE Summerslam show, where Lesnar became the WWE world heavyweight champion for a fourth time:
