Brian Stann: I absolutely want to test Bisping's chin

Stann says this fight will bring him one step closer to becoming a champion. He feels Bisping is one of the best and wants to test his abilities against him in the Octagon: "This guy's one of the biggest stars of the UFC. He's on the cusp of a title shot. That's the situation I'm always looking for. I want to fight the best guys."
Stann feels that Bisping is the perfect foe; a fighter who will give him a real challenge: "I don't think there's an opponent out there that would have gotten me more excited. He's a guy that settles into the fight quickly, executes his game plan very well and mixes it up. He has a good feel when he needs a takedown or a couple of shots to secure the round. I think he's the very best guy at scrambling back to his feet when he's taken down."
Stann wants to stan-up in this bout and is hoping Bisping will stay on his feet: "I absolutely want to test his chin. Anybody who stood with me knows the fight doesn't last long. I'm in this to be a champion and I need to beat Michael Bisping to make a statement."

You wrote the obvious, what most of the people here would, but screwd it up, by questioning. Now lets wait, that someone gives you an answer.
Pretty sure that right hand would have put a bear into premature hibernation. You can't question Bisping's chin off that. He has been dropped before though by right hands and seems susceptible to it.
That punch would ko a heavyweight put it that way.
Good one p4p , yeah Hendo really **** up bisping , but since then he has fought mostly cans, he did fought wanderlei and sonnen but list to both and old wanderei drop him a few times. So happy his fighting stann so anyone can see what a joke Bisping is , Stann by KO r1
It's funny how he's saying I'm going to put bispings chin to the test where he clearly knows that not only it has been tested it got ****ed by a h-bomb I'm gonna get weaked for this but I think he's saying that because he's worrying about bisping stand up watch bisping win this fight by TKO or decision
Saying that Bisping has no chin because he got KTFO'ed by Hendo is a straight up insult to Henderson's crazy punching power.
Yea I know, it's so silly saying Bispign has no chin because he got caught by the perfect H-bomb.
It's the same as saying Mark Hunt has no chin because Cro Cop dropped him with his left head kick... which is clearly not true.
Bisping survived against a bigger and more powerful Rashad and Hamill, also survived against the KO machine that is Wand.
Bisping's chin is tested and proven IMO but that doesn't mean Stann can't KO him

i have to give this fight to bisping by decision. bisping is a little more sharp but brian can still ko him. i think brian will do some damage but bisping will be allittle ahead and mix it up better. i want stann to win, i think he can go toe to toe with anyone hes just that tough. AMERICA!
Stann will have to keep his puncing crisp and tight against Bisping. I doubt he'd be worrying about a counter punch knockout off of a sloppy punch, but I don't tink Stann's wrestling will be up to defending against Bisping's takedowns, should he leave himself open. We've seen how both of them matched up wrestling-wise versus Sonnen.
I think Stann has more power, but Bisping has better technique and better wrestling. If Stann plants and throws big hooks, he'll probably get taken down in short order, but if he fights conservatively and avoids power shots in order to avoid the takedown, he's playing a game that Bisping is just better at.
Stann's ability to win this fight will rely on two things: Avoiding the takedown, and wise use of his knockout power. If he can find a hol in The Counts defensesand rock him with a quick combiation or hook, he'll be in a good position to put him away. I give the solid advantage to Bisping for well roundedness and experience, but I think this is still a winnable fight for a patient Stann with the right gameplan.

This should be a sick fight and clear up if Bisping is ready for the title shot.
Stann can stop anyone with his strikes but I think Bisping can match him in the stand up (maybe not with power but make up for it with technique, speed and pace) and definitely wrestler him to a decision.
Bisping has an underrated ground game and I wouldn't be surprised to see a Bisping submission, especially seeing how easily Chael tapped out Brian.

I agree. To add to your comment; I believe Bisping should box from the outside and go for the takedown when Stann gets inside.
I think this is a genuine test of whether Bisping has the mentality to be a champion. He has missed the mark against other power punchers... I believe if he gets past Stann then he it's a testament to his psychological development.

If Brian Stann does win a decision, I just dont want to hear Bisping talk about how he thinks he won the fight. Bisping is known for thinking he won fights that he clearly didnt win. If he would quit bitching and just do a little more to win the fight there wouldnt be a problem.
I agree. I mean maybe with Chael it was close but with Wanderlei? No way, not even close.

ppl doubt Bisping cos of the hendo ko, but that was a thing of beauty, right hand hook on target with his weight behind it on his right side. it would of ko`ed a horse that punch!
Bisping is a top 5 fighter in the MW division if ya like it or not!
Guys Brian after training with Chael started to talk same like Chael. Chael always used word "period", Brian now used it :DDDDD
If Chael's wrestling rubs off on him, he'll be more dangerous for sure.
