It's once again time for some free fights on Lowkick.com, but this time I thought I'd bring you something different. Below is a video featuring some of the most exciting Pride FC moments. The now defunct promotion made it's name by putting on highly exciting matches, featuring some of the most popular names in the sport.

Before the UFC's rise to prominance, Pride was the meccah of televised MMA. Despite the allegations of corruption, most MMA fans have a soft spot for the Japanese promotion. Something about seeing Wanderlei Silva stamp a man unconcious while Bas Rutten commentates is very satisfying.

Anyway, check out the video below, courtesy of UFC.com, and stay tuned to Lowkick!

    PRIDE WAS WILD.
And I feel sorry for who ever rate the pride video as poor cause it means that they just started watching mma and missed a crazy era of mma.

I still love that they could stomp on each others face, but elbows were illegal. Deep down I hope Bellator or another organization can put together something that rivals the UFC, just like the UFC attempted to rival Pride.

Nothing can match up PRIDE FC.. They were better in every single aspect.. Production, Rules, Judging, Refereeing, fights, and commentators.. That was true MMA and that was a show

I have yet to see a live event. Most are too far away. But in Pride, you could see a lot better if you were in the audience I would imagine.
I hear guys say, that they watch the screen the whole time because they cant see the action. If thats the case, I'd rather get HD PPV
