After KO win, Cung Le unsure of future in MMA

Cung Le has a lot going for him these days. A role in the martial arts flick "The Man With The Iron Fists" coupled with a highlight reel knockout of Rich Franklin has Le sitting on cloud nine. However, with the big win in Macao at UFC on FUEL TV 6, Le isn't quite sure what the future holds for him.

“I love to do martial arts, I love to compete, and if I can do it as long as I live I’d do it, but I know my clock is ticking, so I’m doing my best,” Le said during the UFC on FUEL post fight show. At 40 years of age, the clock is certainly ticking for Le.

He's taken time off before to be a movie star but with wins in back to back UFC fights, you have to think that the man with the dazzling kicks has another big fight or two left in him. But first, he wants to let his body heal up before considering his next move.

“I definitely want to take a little vacation before I start up training again, let my body heal up, my foot completely heal,” he said.

We'll likely see him in the Octagon at least one more time, but nothing is a sure thing.

I know the likelihood of this happening is probably low, but it would be great to see Silva vs. Le.

On another note...man I miss Joe Rogan & Mike Goldberg on the mic. To me, it's just not the same broadcast without Rogan and Goldie, doing the play-by-play. The broadcast's color commentary is lacking in passion, frenetic pace, and anecdotal stories. When you hear Rogan calling a fight it's as you are right there (with them) @ cage side.

This is the one side of the broadcast I don't think FOX has gotten right and I don't know what the cure is, except for bringing in Rogan & Goldberg. They are, to me, half the experience of a UFC broadcast. They quite literally are the voice of the UFC and I miss it.

ya man Rogan and Goldberg are a great team. Nothing against the other guys but they should keep trying new people until they find someone better. That was also just one of the downsides to strikeforce.

Plus fluorian and anik sound a lot alike to me.

And hell ya Silva and Le would be a great fight. The one thing you can be sure of is that it wont be some boring wrestling match!

Speaking of Strikeforce I like / liked Mauro Ranallo. He has a lot of the same qualities as Rogan. You can at least hear the excitement in his voice. With Florian and the "other guy" (don't even know his name), it was like they were putting me to sleep. Yeah, but if they can't get those two for some reason, which I still don't understand, then keep trying new people. I always like Mir and Couture.

Yes, Silva / Le. It would not be boring. Someone would get KO'd in that fight.

....That was a heck of a punch the other night.
