Look at all these B grade fighters hating on the best fighter in the world. Don't you think getting on your knees and offering a free head kick is showing someone up to be what they are. Damian Maia is a bum and he did not commit to Anderson. There is such a thing as footwork and if he really wanted to fight he should have cut off the ring. Damian played his game and Anderson played his. If you want the belt you need to rip it away from the Champion and Damian showed the heart of a Siamese cat.



How can you be a professional mixed martial artist challenging for the highest accolade in your weight class and not lay it all on the table for it. Diego Sanchez would and many other fighters I know would never quit. Damian did.



Also, everyone is saying his performance made him look "stupid"....well what is stupid about dominating the first two rounds, taking ZERO damage and then showboating like NOBODY ELSE IN THE MMA WORLD HAS THE ABILITY to do. The guy moonwalks and all sorts and it is clear he has an eclectic skill set. He is nimble, strong, flexible and willing to give us the fights WE WANT TO SEE. Nobody wanted to see that fight made and that includes Anderson. I don't see GSP, BJ PENN, BROCK, MACHIDA, RUA, RAMPAGE etc begging to jump around weight classes just so the fans can see fantasy match-ups. You guys are either slightly miseducated and narrow minded on this topic or you have a personal agenda against the man that logic will not resolve. Adios....

No one in this interview in even close to being in the same class as Anderson Silva. Bad match ups sometimes make bad fights, these fighters seem to be slobbing on Dana's Knob.

I'm not not sure any of those fighters would entertain the idea of fighting Anderson Silva EVEN when he's clowning around, but they sure can talk though. If i were any of those fighters, i would want to focus on becoming a better fighter instead of talking crap about Anderson Silva. Bums will stay bums.

The interviewer was asking them, and picked xtreme couture to conduct the interviews... Its not like they are calling radio shows or on MMAlive and being like "silvas a bitch i can beat him" they just answering simple questions, dont knock em.. its like if someone said "what u think of silva fight" u would prob say "it sucked, he acted like a clown". difference between them and you is that they actually get in the cage

The only ones who are not knocking on A. Silva for his terrible performance are the ones who are slobbering all over his testicles. Come on people! Call it like it is. He didn't fight and it wasn't because he had an off night. It's because he chose not to fight which makes it even worse. I'm a huge GSP fan, but if he did something like that, I would be bashing on him just as much as the person who hates him the most would be, and in no way, shape, or form would I defend him. There is no excuse whatsoever for Silva for a performance like that
