Aldo is 145 champ and this season TUF is 155 division. The winner of this would never be considered in line for an instant title shot with Edgar, rather they would start out at the bottom of the ladder and be slowly built up like all other former TUF winners.
Comparing TUF finalists against one of the best P4P fighters in the world? Wow, I guess you made a point. I'm not sure what the point is, but you must feel pretty smart right about now. I supose there is no point in any of the 4 finalists even entering the UFC, right? Idiot.
man the ultimate fighter is or young up and coming fighters, not fighters who are to jump right into a title fight. also these fighters are LIGHTWEIGHTS no featherweights!
The results thus far are a bit surprising actually. Not that I do not agree that Brookins is a front runner for the contract, rather its the fact that he has been voted so far ahead of Nam. If I had to choose between the two, which I will eventually anyway, at this time I would pick Nam. He looks to be the more complete fighter at this point. Either way, both will be handed a contract in the end : )
My cousin Johnathan is a head coach for a high school football team... they are undefeated. Jonathan Duhamel just won the main event at the WSOP last week ($9,000,000). So Brookins is the obvious choice for me

so this essentially says that aldo would DESTROY this year's competition

Brookins has already fought Jose Aldo in the WEC, Aldo finished him in the 3rd round. And Nam Phan is also a 145 lb fighter. Sorry Charlie.
thanks hunter.
that's what i was basing that statement off of.
aldo's destruction of brookins and his legs.

Yes, because that's what I said. Good job. Please, keep talking.

you could say that about any previous champ and the previous casts of tuf. relax. they wont be fighting for a title yet.
Didn't Serra get an instant title shot after winning TUF?
thats becaue all fighters in tuf 4 were fighting for a title shot. these fighters are fighting for a contract!!!
was called "the comeback"
It features former UFC and other pro mma fighters who were trying to get another shot in the big show and win a title shot vs GSP
That Nam pham dude is pretty good is either him or Brookins! I knew that bruce leroy was all talk!
Looks like Brookins in a runaway so far......
