    I like Thiago, but he just needs to lose a little bit of weight because it's just effecting his performance cutting all that weight. He would be even deadly if he was near 100% in the cage.

    yea, height often times has a lot to do with how you deal with all the styles that come into the octagon. Too short against a striker with good takedown defense isnt always good.. Thiago needs to stay in a weight class where his height is on par with others in that class

    Im excited about his next fight...finally we get to see him fight a striker, im hoping the winner of this fight fights the winner of Lytle/Condit, that would b great to see

    Hopefully the surgery and time off of training allowed him to trim down a bit. He doesn't look quite as jacked as he did in his last fight.



    Weight-wise he could of course fight at 185, but like he's stated before, he's at such a height/reach disadvantage at MW, it'd be a really tough go for him. He just doesn't need to be so ****ing muscular. Enough with the weight training for a while

    Alves is an exciting fighter ,but someone like John Howard well rounded and very smart fighter will be a really deal .imo

    personally i dont see it as a problem to him, howard is no gsp and alves has beaten the likes of kos and hughes who are both excellent all round fighters. i see this as alves tko in less than 2 rounds.

    Thats a pretty cool video. He has beaten almost all the top dogs in the welterwieght division.
