I don't like when Dana talks more than the fighters, but whattaya gonna do. Franklin and Liddell is a super fight in my book and i see it going either way. Can't wait for this event! Franklin by UD.

If my company had a meeting, I bet our boss would take the most too. And let's hope it's not Rich by UD or Chuck by UD.....lets see a KO/TKO of some kind by someone.

Agreed. Dana wants too much to be a star.

I honestly feel he knows very litttle about the tech side of MMA "This guy gets better everytime" has been all he's had to offer as commentary for 3 years.

I also don't like how he "fired" Tito for being hurt, is that how you treat injured employees hurt at your company? He also pressured Nick Ring to fight with a blown out knee.

Dear Dana, you can take an online ETHICS class for free!

I hope Liddel vs. Franklin ends in a draw or double knockout.

Promotion is the first priority with MMA right now. They do a good job promoting the sport and growing it. People who want to hear the fighters speak, tend to be people who are already fans. Promotion gets new fans. It's important.

Dude, he was "fired" google it. He could have stayed on and Rich could have just helped with the team or Rich could have just fought at the main event.

Dana dumped Tito because he was injured, I don't know if they continued to pay him, I hope they did.

Pulling out if you're injured is something you HAVE to do. Dana didn't have to damage his livelihood ..

He was fired. Breach of contract. When you sign up, you have to sign up for the WHOLE thing. Backing out of the grudge match breached the contract and allowed Dana to fire him.

Tito was "injured" before he entered the contract to do TUF and fight at the end of the season. If he was hurt enough to back out close to the end of filming the show then he shouldnt have had taken the responsibility of being a coach. And like bjfan said. He definitely breached his contract and deserved to be fired. If I was under the impression that I hired someone to do a job... And halfway through the job he tells me he can't finish the job....why keep him around and hire someone else? I would fire that person in a heart beat!! And..... Go Chuck!!! l

An injury in MMA isn't like a dry-walling gig that didn't get finished ...

Yes, but you can't sign a contract saying you are going to fight "knowing" you have a pre-existing condition. Then Tito tried to re-negotiate the terms of the agreement because of that pre-existing condition.

You can't do that. If you have a pre-existing condition and enter into a contract, you are excepted to keep your end of the contract, injury or not.

He didn't get "new" back problems through the coarse of the show. He entered into it knowing he had this problem. In legality terms, Dana could go after Tito for money for non disclosure depending on how the contract reads.

I doubt that would happen, they would have to prove that the difference between Tito and Franklin was a loss of revenue, but still.

    Tito screwed up..

Its not a "meeting" its a pre-FIGHT press conference, as in give the fans/media a chance to listen to the fighters. If u think that the only way to have a good fight is to see TKO/KO then that's just the kind of 'fan' you are. Its not what i'm "hoping" for, its a fight prediction, these guys are both legends who are each coming off KO losses, you should know what that means.
