Wanderlei Silva prepares to get back the taste of victory against Cung Le at UFC 139
Posted on October 21, 2011, 06:06 AM by Anton GurevichLegendary Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva will return to action next November, this time facing the local fan-favorite Cung Le in the co-main event of UFC 139 in San Jose, California. Silva is currently 2-3 in his last 5 bouts, with a somehow surprising defeat to Chris Leben in just 27 seconds, in his last bout at UFC 137. Stylistically, Cung Le looks like a favourable match-up for Wandeco (well, just like Leben), who will get a chance to display his trademark striking skills.
UFC 139 will be headlined by Light Heavyweight collision between Dan Henderson and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. The event will take place at the HP Pavilion on November 19th.

Wandy is always a fun fighter to watch . I'm excited for this one
I would like to see him executing some kind os strategy and not only punching like a mad man....if he loses he should end his career.
It seems like Wandi and co are a bit over confident in their ability to tell the future. They keep saying that Le is predictable. The problem is that the only thing predictable is that he is going to throw a lot of kicks from odd angles. That one stepping punch to spinning side kick combo has gotten predictable but he might not use it. What if Le utilizes his wrestling like he did in the Smith rematch? I like both fighters and wish they could both win but it is going to be a bad night for Wandi if he goes in there as predictable as he can be thinking that Le is predictable. Win or lose, I hope we see the Wandy that out stratagized Bisbing and not the one that got KOd by Leban.

pretty sure dana wanted Wanderlei to retire but Wanderlei didnt want to. Perhaps dana said this will be his last fight win or lose cuz he doesnt wanna see Wanderlei get hurt
