Next week, UFC veteran Vitor Belfort will look to make what so many fighters failed before him - defeating the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva. Belfort decided to leave his long-time coach Shawn Tompkins, to prepare for the fight at famous Xtreme Couture Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. "The Phenom" is currently on five-fight winning streak, losing to Dan Henderson four years ago via a Unanimous Decision at Pride 32.

The fight will headline UFC 126 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 5th, as the Light Heavyweight collision between Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin serves as the co-main event of the night.

The music they are playing in the background wouldn't make me want to work out at all. I'm sure someone is tearing up in the corner somewhere in that gym and writing in their journal.

I like belfort but I think A.S. is a strong favourite, I don't think it will be as close as people think. Apart from the franklin fight where he did look pretty good his last fights of any significance were around 2006 where he lost most of them. I know he's had a few problems but he is not the fighter he was when he burst onto the scene in the 90's.

Background music makes it hard to hear what he's saying, pretty annoying.

It's not the same seeing a fighter work the ropes after seeing Brock do it.

I actually don't think there'll be any finish. They're both great strikers but they also both have good chins, and Anderson is damn near impossible to hit. I see silva staying in the outside, utilising kicks and jabs to keep belfort at distance where he's less dangerous. If belfort can somehow close the distance and get on the pocket with silva like sonnen did then he could cause him some trouble.

Finally, vitor hasn't fought in 2 years and ring rust is a real thing. This is a championship fight so he better be prepared to go 5 rounds with the spider, and I believe he will, with silva taking a decision.

Vitor can be lethal with the right training and game plan.

Watch for Vitor to wrestle Anderson and beat his ass on the ground.
