Vitor Belfort had been scheduled to meet former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Cung Le at UFC 139, but an injury forced Belfort to withdraw from the fight. Belfort was subsequently replaced by Wanderlei Silva in the evening’s co main event.

Belfort recently appeared on HDNet’s Inside MMA to speak about his injury.  He also revealed who he would like to fight when he is healthy enough to make his return to the ranks of the UFC.

I dont think so....Vitor needs to stand up with Chael to win...

Chael will definite take a few punches just to get insode with him and then down to the mat they go.

I agree this is not a good fight with Vitor... If he looses... his popularity will definitely drop BIG.

Vitor claims he is a christian...Shut up Vitor and quick talking when you should be silent. Unfortunately Chael is partly right, Vitor needs to worry about being healthy and showing up for more fights than dropping out because of injury.

this fight will not be that competitive. for some reason belfort came back to the ufc with a high reputation. he has beat franklin and akiyama, but chael will punish him every day of the week. he does have a lot of experience, but so does chael. the one difference is chael always shows up to kick ass. belfort usually looks for a quick knockout. when he doesn't get it, he becomes lost and at times has just layed on his back and takes a beating and thats what chael will do to him. chael may talk a lot of smack, but he does deliver beatings. even though he lost to silva, he put a beating on him that i thought nobody would be able to do. and he can do it again.

Vitor may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but he has awesome take down defense and one punch knockout power...bad match up for chael.

I am a huge Chael Sonnen fan , but im realistic as well

i know from all fighters in the division Belfort is the worst match up for Chael , Chael would be lucky to get past the second round with Belfort

if he can beat Stann who is the second wort match up for Chael he should get the rematch with Silva and fight Belfort after
