brian stann vs vitor belfort would be a cracking fight
Should Brian lose to Sonnen, a match-up with Vitor Belfor would make the most sense. Both are heavy hitters and would deliver an exciting fight.
Sonnen has the best skill set to beat the spider Silva. I look forward to seeing the grudge rematch of these rivals,...
Bla, bla, bla - You've already had your shot and you didn't do much with it, Vitor.
With the way everybody is talking about Silva being lucky, he should go to Vegas and become a billionaire!
Luck doesn't cause you to win 15 fights in a row. That's pure skill my friend.
Anderson has a lot of "lucky" moments. Maybe next time his "lucky moment" will be a jab instead of a front kick... or some knees from the clinch... or a reverse back elbow.
Wow... sarcasm is just completely lost on you.
Belfort speaks the truth , don't hate on him because he is the biggest threat to Silva , besides Belfort is only the 3rd legit contender in Silva's carrer that is worth speaking, the last one being Henderson and the first one being Franklin.
If Silva can beat him twice that leave a heavy print on his legacy.
its only matter of who pulls the trigger first.
And if he beats him twice, you'll say he needs to beat him a 3rd time. Don't hate on Silva because he kicked a field goal with his head.
Vitor lost in a devastating fashion and doesn't deserve a rematch.
he just said that IF he beats Belfort twice , that would be hell of an achievement , and will make a big statement on his legacy.
try reading the whole comment first before you go all mad and take your hands off from Silva's **** to write a stupid comment.
Vitor is one of the best fighters in MMA. saying he doesn't deserve a rematch is not up to your stupid judgement.
vitor is on record saying the spider got a great chin but will likely go out if he gets hit in the side of the head(while pointing to a gray area that can be considered the back of the head).. go back and look at vitor fights and all his K.Os look almost the same he aims for almost the same spot(the cleanest punch he hit spider with in their fight was aimed at that spot) not saying vitor's a dirty fighter let's just say he's crafty..
Vitor definitely can knock out Anderson but at the end of the day he didn 't. He was loooking pretty good in that fight right up until he got front kicked square in the face and was lying limp on the canvas. He needs to work his way back to that title shot. He should also refrain from saying anything Anderson does is "lucky". I like Vitor but that wasn't a lucky moment.
why is he still talking when he got KNOCKED THE **** OUT!
Vitor is campaigning for another shot at Silva--and I can't blame him. I am still not convinced that Vitor has no chance with Silva. I believe Vitor was surprised by an effective front kick--a kick that previously was rarely used effectively before in the UFC--and I believe fighters tended to be less wary of front kicks--at least until Silva and Machida showed that a properly executed front kick wins fights decisively.
Besides, the MW division is not that stacked--and AS has few worthy contenders and he has stated he wishes to remain in the MW division. So when you look down the roster of potential worthy contenders--I would like to see Belfort get another crack at Silva. Who else besides Sonnen, Stann and Belfort? Leben? Koscheck? Shields? Rockhold or Jacare? Belcher?
Everyone gets into the ring with Anderson, and freezes.... except for Chael. I'm not a Chael fan, but what he did to Anderson was CRAZY! I've never seen a Champ get beat around the ring.... each round until the last seconds. He truly could have ran for the last minute..
Though fighters can be excellent with their hands, I can't see how SO MANY fighters wish to rely on just that... there's never been a long-standing Champion that only uses his hands to look for knockouts..
Vitor's obsessed with Silva. Lesser fighters have put up a better fight against Silva than Belfort. The guys obviously embarrassed with his pride hurt. The way he lost, Bisping, Munoz, Stann, or Sonnen all deserve a title shot before him.
