I was cheering for Sonnen and then he went off the deep end with the disrespect to not just Silva but other fighters that had never said or disrespected him just turned into governor douche......But think and hope Vitor will come and crush all douchebags foreign and domestic

Anderson has been dancing around all top BJJ guys lately and if he decides to do the same against Vitor than its goodnight for the spider as Vitor has the fastest hands in MMA along side JDS.

If the spider does win it will be via submission, he is not on the striking level of Vitor, people talk about how great Anderson was in pro boxing, but with 1-1 record, that is terrible and goes to show he can't dance against even a decent level of hands.

Sonnen could win this fight, as Anderson has show weakness in his wrestling and could get controlled for 5 rounds, although Sonnen is suspect to submissions and gets caught a lot when hes on top.

Can sombody help me understand something, Vitor gets surgery and is on the DL for a while. After rehab he gets the green light to start training, how in the world is he a better and more dangerous Vitor Belfort? I do not get where his head trainer was going with that...

You must remember that in mma striking includes leg kicks which are not included in a pro boxing match and silva is the best at the four limbs combined contest. He can out strike vitor in my opinion if he doesn't just try and box him as that would be vitors world. Vitor was one of my first favorites in the sport and anderson one of my latest but vitor lacks the well roundedness of anderson. Vitor is good on the ground and great on the feet and good at staying up. Anderson is better on the ground, better overall on the feet and better at staying on his feet. Just depends on wether anderson chooses a fight suited for vitor.

He looks healthy, sharp, mentally prepared for a come back. I just hope cage rust doesnt affect him. Silva vs vitor is a real title fight, thank you.

ps: If sonnen wins i will start going to church and believe in miracles.

I don't think bisping would make a good match against silva but vitor might. I feel there is a huge difference between bisping and vitor.

Silva his on a different "league" than Bisping! If ever that match up was made, I could, without a second thought, bet my house and car on Silva. Dont get me wrong, Bisping his a good fighter and has done so good fights but he will never reach the level of Silva and if they fought, due to Bisping style, he would get beat up very badly, it would look like a flashback from the Franklin fights...

Bisping couldn't even beat Evans, Hendo or Wand and barely beat Hamil, he would get beaten worse than he did against Hendo

Chael has a chance, even if Anderson is fighting in top form. It's not a great chance, but it wouldn't rank among biggest-upsets. Unfortunately if he did win, people would try to take it away from him by saying Anderson didn't try or something.

Chael might have a better chance than Vitor. It might be that nobody in MMA can stand and trade with Anderson. It might take someone like Chael to do it. Vitor's hands are amazing, if he can't challenge Anderson standing, then nobody can.

i think Shogun could beat A Silva with his aggressive striking, the right hand that caught Machida wasn't exactly technically sound but effective. Moving onto to Silva v Sonnen i can't help but think about the ease in which Hendo passed Silva's guard i watch that fight about 1 or twice a month he really didn't do much technically to pass and we've seen Silva mounted too. I still expect Silva to use his vastly superior striking to win but i'm getting that same feeling that made me pick Werdum in my lowpicks and look what happened there. I don't like Sonnen but if he wins kudos to him.

I can't believe you seriously think chael sonnen is sooo awesome. The guy said himself h has NO groundgame...but ALL he's gonna do is take silva to the ground when silva is a BJJ blackbelt......

I mean that sounds like a punchline, like trying to beat mike tyson by ramming your head agaisnt his fists.

Sonnen has some dangerous ground and pound. Dennis Kang has a black belt that didn't stop Bisping GnP him. Don't get me wrong I still expect and want Silva to win

    Vitor is a amazing fighter:

    Great skills in boxing

black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (He received a black belt under Carlson Gracie)

    black belt in Judo

    blue belt in Shotokan Karate

I really believe that Anderson will be in huge risk to lost his title...

I know people are gonna say this is weak but I wonder why so many people think Vitor has anywhere near the standup skills of Silva. I mean Liddell beat Vitor in a standup war back in the day, and Chuck may have been sharper back then, and Vitor has probably improved also since then. But I just haven't seen any evidence that Vitor is on the same wavelength as Anderson at all. And I don't think he's as fast as he used to be either. I want to see the fight but everyone's treating Vitor like their knight in shining armor. So he knocked out Franklin. That doesn't prove anything. We will see what happens though. I think Sonnen has just as much chance of beating Silva. That dude is relentless and if his submission defense keeps getting better he would beat almost anyone at that weight. Keep doubting Chael. I know he has a big mouth but he's selling a fight and doing a great job of it.
