Two title fights on one card is not something we see a lot by the UFC nowadays... But does anyone really think that demian maia and frankie edgar will win? I'm a huge maia/jiu jitsu fan, but still... I dont see it.
i dont see edger doing much to penn. and if maia pulls some crazy shit off after getting his ass beat like ryo chonan did out of desperation. bj penn edger aint going to beable to **** with his cardio is the best in the ufc i think and he has already fixed al his problems i dont see penn losing anytime soon.and i think maia might have the best bjj in the ufc but i dont see him being able to take anderson down to use it...
You are right, neither of these fights are that interesting and is more of yet another outing for the champ to kick someone around the octagon for a while.
i wouldnt count him out 100%, i mean, anderson is defintely really good striker, good head movement etc, maia wont be able to hit him at all, but, maia has shown he can actually take people down, even good wrestlers, and hes way better than leites is you ask me.. so, theres a small chance that he could get him down before takin any damage, and win, its not like we havent seen anderson tap out before...but even if he did, people would still say anderson is the best lol so no matter what, maia loses
Why does Gray Maynard keep getting skipped at a shot at at BJ he has been the number 3 since Sanchez fought Guida, and since Florian, Sanchez, and now Edgar get a shot. is Gray injured or something?
please go watch the whole fight, chonan was losing the stand up, but he wasnt getting destroyed, the guy was takin all those shots not rocked once..... also, he was probably ahead on the scorecards for his takedowns and control, anderson was only winnin on the feet, and not by a HELL of alot, i think even if it went to decision, chonan was ognna win.. unless he got KO before the end of the fight, but i HIGHLY doubt it.

because gray maynard got his ass beat agaisnt nate diaz and nate diaz is not that great.....
Edgar's wins have been more dominating then Maynard, Maynard hasnt finished many guy's also.
