Love Urijah man, he is our hometown pride, and I sure hope he takes care of business...Some people are saying he moved down to 135 to avoid Aldo, I just hope he wins tomorrow and gets Cruz again. Dominick might be too fast for him, but he needs to get title shot to stay relevant and grow the Team Alpha Male name.

go Cali Kid, rep the 916!!

Everyone "say". If you don't think he's avoiding Aldo, your letting your bias overtake logic. He's scared.

I think he is avoiding Aldo but to be fair Aldo is much bigger than Faber and Faber did quite well in the first round and a half that was nearly even but the leg chops paid their dues on him. Urijah is as exciting and skilled as they come and he is now truly in his right weight class.

Fair enough BUT why then does he keep talking about "super fights" at 155? He also hints that he'll be a standout cause he'll be a champ from two weight classes. Wrong- he lost his belt and then ran away to a smaller weight class to avoid further beatings. Remember, Brown beat him twice before he ever fought Aldo. It wasn't just Aldo.

Yes but Brown did far worse than Urijah vs Aldo and both his wins left fans with unanswered questions about who is better since one was an early KO which was partly due to walking strait into the punch wrecklessly and the other Urijah both broke hands starting in the second round and almost finished Brown in the 4th with broken hands but those hands couldn't hold the choke long enough. Brown was lucky IMO. Brown should have never been in such precarious situations against a guy only able to throw elbows and kicks.

there's no other reason he would've dropped down, but atleast he realised he didn't belong in that division and saved himself a year or two of fruitless labour
