UFN 22 Has New Main Event.

MMAjunkie.com reported that with Alan "The Talent" Belcher and his recent withdrawal from UFN 22 ,due to problems with his eye sight ,the ufc has decided to scrap that main event and put in Nate"The Great"Marquardt (29-9-2) vs. Rousimar Palhares (11-2).This bout was supposed to take place at ufc 118 but now has been bumped to the UFN 22 Main Event. Since it looks like it's unclear if the UFC can find an opponent for Demian. It looks like we won't know if he will or will not still take part at the event until a further update.

Nate is coming off a very dissapointing loss to Chael Sonnen at UFC 109 last Feb. and looking to rebound with an impressive win to climb his way back to the #1 Middle Weight contender,while his opponent dangerous BJJ artist Rousimar Palhares is coming off a suspension for faling to release a submission hold on fighter Tomasz Drwal. Before Rousimar got suspended he was on a 3 fight win streak and hopes to make a statement in his comeback with fight an upset win over Nate Marquardt to improve his winning streak to 4 and try to cemet his place in the UFC's Elite Middle Weight division.
