Posted on June 21, 2010, 09:29 PM by NikMegamanHulsteinUFC 120 is a upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While not officially announced by the organization, it is expected to take place on October 16, 2010, at the O2 Arena in London, England and air on Spike TV. The event will be the tenth that the organization has hosted in the United Kingdom, and the first in London since UFC 95. The first ever U.K UFC Fan Expo is expected to coincide with this event.
Dan Hardy was scheduled to fight Dustin Hazelett at this event after verbal agreements, but Hazelett pulled out due to getting married around this time and is now fighting Rick Story at UFC 117. Either Carlos Condit or Martin Kampmann will be Hardy's opponent.Paul Sass is also expected to make his UFC debut against an unnamed opponent. Michael Bisping will fight at this event and could face the winner of Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama from UFC 116.

this is gonna be awesome with dan hardy probably fighting kampmann and michael bisping on the card and its FREE!
great article
very valuable information
Micheal Bisping just fought Wanderlei, I'd rather see Bisping with possibly Franklin, Marquardt or Maia.
Wait, an actual UFC numeral event on Spike for free? In the States? No way.... I will believe that when I see it and I wont be holding my breath....
It has already happened. I cant remember what # it was, but its the one where Gabriel Gonzaga ko'ed Crocop.
It was UFC 105, Couture Vs. Vera, live on Spike T.V.
maybe read the article before you read comments like that, Its in London, England... not the states
*write a comment...
Hey, smart ass..... What does that got to do with where it will AIR ON TV..... C'mon Nik!! Why do you think it says "In the States?" Take note of the "?" at the end....
The title of the article says "UFC120 confirmed to be on SpikeTV, in London, England". Then in the second sentence it says "While not officially announced by the organization...". So is it confirmed to be in London or not?
Exactly, yet Nik wants to try to be a smart ass when I ask about it being aired in the States.... I typically try to be patient with Nik, but seriously...
Its confirmed to be in london, and confirmed on spike but the people who are fighting on it is not
do you have issues with me? Their is no need for that.
there have been 2 or 3 free live numeral events. they were broadcast on spike tv in texas for sure, i watched them 2 of them for sure.... i believe they were all held in europe, so it isnt far fetched to happen again.
89, bisping vs leben *shudders* that was free
Forgot about that one. I only went back so far...... Spike also airs all of the TUF Finales and Fight Nights for free, making it a pretty damn good channel in my opinion.
Had to open that wound, didn't you.....LOL. Leben is one of my favorites.....
Now that the Spike T.V. debate is settled, why would Bisping possibly get the "winner" of the Silva/Akiyama fight? Because he decisioned Dan Miller? Are they trying to potentially set up a rematch with Silva where Silva clearly won the first fight? If anything Bisping should get the loser of that fight at best, or someone else entirely. I see the winner of Silva/Akiyama up a tier higher than Bisping at the moment and closer to title contention. Any thoughts, oh great fans of the MMA sport?
