The UFC took the octagon action to Australia for the first time this 2010 in february 21with UFC 110. The event was a great success , holding great fights with up rising star Cain Velasquez vs Rodrigo Nogueira and Wanderlei Silva vs Michael Bisping.

The event had great success but not with out being crtized by the media in Australia calling it to violent , but this didnt stop the event itself to be called one great success in the international picture.

The UFC has hold events outside the U.S only a few times , an Australia is a target place to make another international event.

With Dana White vowing to return making an annual visit to Australia. Following UFC 116 White stated " We'll be back to Australia next year ".

Australia will be likely to be one of the first international locations to land its own The Ultimate Fighter reality show.

He said the UFC would return to Ireland start of 2010, then was March for St.Patrick Day and then late 2010(which it doesn't look like will happen as 120 and 122 are already set for europe).

Dana just says "We are going back there soon" to keep people happy, unless it is actually confirmed with a PPV event and date don't get excited.

If we had TUF here, hopefully its produced by americans and not aussies. The aussie version of Contender was shi+ and dont want to see the same thing happen to TUF.

Great to hear UFC returning for another event here, it was my first live UFC event and was great. Since then i've been to1 other live UFC event (114+expo in Vegas). No doubt i'll purchase a ticket to see my 3rd live event in Feb 2011.
