All fighters without exception made weight, as the tension between Jon Jones and Brandon "The Truth" Vera reached new levels at the staredown time. The weigh ins took place at the venue of the event, 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

Don't look at it as something "disrespectful." All fighters, even the humble ones, do this to hype fights. Remember Kongo-Mir. Kongo did the same thing.

if you love the fight game, you get emotional aout the fighters you like, can't help it, i know they are just selling fights really but in some cases (like this one) there is a genuine animosity, an animosty that Bones has just created at the weigh in, which i really believe he will come to regret, Vera is no joke and i can't wait to se that written all over his face......
You made a good point, but Vera will still lose. It will be tough one for Jones though.

The Sandman looks shredded for for 185 Im pulling for him hopefully the weight cut wont hurt him to badly.
I think it will be a close fight. Vera will win the first round because he'll be superior in the standup, and eventually jones will have to try and take him down. But in the end i think Vera will just be the better fighter it will go to a decision maybe even split. As for the co-main event, junior is a beast but i think gonzago will win tko started with a head kick.
At the end you see Jones smiling and saying lets go or something along those lines, so I think it was not disrespect, he is just ready to get in there and throw down.
I think he is going to knock Vera out!
