Posted on August 14, 2011, 11:16 PM by Joey SantosusUFC on Versus 5 delivered an action packed line-up tonight from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In what was his final appearance inside the octagon, UFC veteran Chris Lytle went toe to toe with Dan Hardy before sinking in a guillotine choke to pick up his 31st career victory in the headlining bout. Great night of fights
Honestly Ed Herman deserved that SOTN money.
Lytle deserved every penny of both bonuses for his performances throughout his career. That said, I have to agree, Herman should have been rewarded for that submission.
Agreed. That was a brutal sub.
Again i say that a new bonus is needed!
instead of paying 70,000 in 3 bonuses! 210,000dlls
Make:
Knock Out of the Night 50,000
Submission on the Night 50,000
Performance or Fighter of the Night 50,000
Fight of the Night 50,000
making it even cheaper 200,000 total and more fighters get extra cash with an extra bonus.
The new bonus Performance/Fighter of the Night goes to the one
who puts the better show with having to be a back and fort fight
like Ben Henderson for example tonight.
Lytle gets.....
Money for the fight
Money for the win
Money for Submission of the night
Money for Fight of the Night
Also a Harley Davidson from the UFC sponsor
All the love and respect in fight community and his family
....What a great way to go out
rigo your math is a little off there it would be more expensive 250000 not 20000 both fighters get that amount they dont split the bonus
200000
yea 2 bonuses for lytle :D
grats to lytle. i cant believe a guy like this has never been submitted, has never been knocked out, and has never been given a chance to fight for a title. while hardy got a title shot after winning like 3 fights in the ufc. the ufc likes to cary the brit fighters (hardy, bisbing) just to get their fans to buy ppv. every time those two step up they get beat.
I understand that it was Lytles last night but Herman deserved that submission award....
