UFC on Versus 4: Attendance and Bonuses

UFC on Versus 4 delivered an exciting night of fights tonight from the Consol Energy Center in their Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania debut.  Cheick Kongo scored a shock comeback knockout over Pat Barry in the headlining bout, while Charlie Brenneman upset Rick Story to pick-up his third UFC victory in the co-main event.  Matt Brown put on a stellar performance en-route to out pointing John Howard and Matt Mitrione took another step up the Heavyweight latter, knocking out Christian Morecraft in the second-round.

The UFC awarded generous $50,000 bonuses to the night's top performers, who were announced by Dana White immediately following the event.

    Great sub by Joe and KO by Kongo but I dont think that should be fight of the Night, it was disgraced by a horrible situation of reffing and misjudgment during a fight which should have been stopped or let Lentz recover.

    Lentz got screwed. This is the UFC's way of trying to make it up to him. I don't see this as a good reason to NOT give him a bonus.

    The saddest part of this is all, is that Joe Stevenson, one of the nicest guys in MMA, may be through.

    its sad but hopefully he recognizes its time joe is knowledgeable and well known enough that he should be able to make decent money as a trainer

    the last rnd of story vs brenneman was amazing. Rick story did not lose any respect at all the kid will come back stronger

    29-29 on the griffin fight? i dont even understand judging anymore. theyre just awful. how do you give a 10-8 round in that fight?
