UFC on Versus 4: Charlie Brenneman defeats Rick Story

The key to Brenneman's victory was his powerful wrestling background. Brenneman took down Rick Story relatively easy, and managed to keep him there for the majority of time. Story was unable to execute his gameplan, as Charlie Brenneman continued to score points with ground and pound. Story managed to get back on track in Round 3, firing submission attempts off his back and dominating Charlie Brenneman on his feet.
But the result was still the same - Charlie Brenneman via Unanimous Decision (29-28 on all cards). It's without a doubt the biggest victory in Charlie Brenneman's career, that will definitely catapult "The Spaniard" into higher ranks of the UFC Welterweight division. As for Rick Story, "The Horror" lost his six-fight winning streak, and now finds himself far away from fighting for the title.

Story loses and Howard loses. It's the night of the Underdog...
I really thought Brenneman would win for some reason...it was written in the stars with the way he came in on late notice as the fan favourite...you could just see story dumping adrenaline after been moved off the main event.
im just happy story lost. WW has enough fighters like him dominating the division. Good sub attempts by Story. Brenneman is wirey as **** lol. his takedowns were great, he looked very hard to hold. His side control looked weak
Brenneman has the same style as Story.......
MMA math is a lot like a hurricane forecast. Though an educated guess can be devised, one can never truly know the outcome prior to the storm.

A bit disappointed with Story!
Story's loss has really messed up the WW in my opinion. If Story won which, I strongly predicted, then I would've liked to see him against Fitch, BJ and Shields go at it, then the two winners face each other for contender spot or for the belt if it is vacated.
Now I don't know where Charlie should go, I think Fitch is a bit much (and from this fights evidence it would've been far too much for The Horror). Maybe someone like Kos would be a good opponent
Story's recent fight with Thiago could be a major factor in his performance, if so it was a huge lapse in judgment.
Ethier way Story should've had this one in the bag or not taken the fight if he was wanting to be at top of the division with the upper class fighters.
One reason why I love this sport. Anyone could win.
