I guess this means that we've seen the last of James Irvin in the UFC.

What did i say, the dumbest main event in history. Noone can beat jon jones in the ufc, and that includes shogun and perhaps even all the heavyweights.

I know people are gonna weak me for that but time will prove me right. I think he is gonna be the sugar ray robinson/muhammed ali of this sport.

I wont weak vote you but I think that is one of the most ignorant comments I've ever read...I understand you like him but Shogun, Machida, Silva would hurt that kid bad. I'm sure after this he'll get a shot at a top guy and be able to prove himself...but you're a little off the reservation here bro. I wont even go to the heavyweights because words cant express how bad he would get handled...but hey thats your opinion

Lol it's tough to respond to something that dumb, yes Jones is a top fighter but if he can beat everyone that badly according to you then every person the UFC puts him up against is a dumb fight, so I guess the only solution is to put him against both Shogun and Brock at once so that way it can be a fair fight. He'll knock out Shogun with a spinning heel kick while stuffing a take down from Brock before double legging him and winning by TKO right?

No, the fact that i think he would beat everyone in the UFC does not mean every fight in the UFC is dumb, just this fight, like i said.

Well, time will prove me right when he wins the title, defends it a few times and moves up to get the HW title as well.

How is this fight dumber than any of the other ones if it's a guarantee Jones win either way, you cant just say "just like I said" and think that explains what you said when that didnt make sense to explain yourself to begin with. Ya one day Jones could win the LHW title and move up to HW but to claim he's unbeatable is just stupid.

I think the Brock/Carwin fight should've been stopped before the Jones/Matyushenko fight...if that was a warranted stoppage then why is Carwin not wearing that belt?

Jones had Matyushenko in a mounted crucifix and was elbowing this head! that was a very good stoppage.

Carwin was pounding Brocks face but he didn't have him in a dominant position. Brock kept pushing him off too.

Matyushenko did not protest the stoppage. He probably thanked the ref afterwards for stopping the comming elbows.

You're a good guy Plutonian but I still firmly disagree...Matyushenko was still moving and wasnt given a chance to try...Brock laid there and was being pounded for well over 30 seconds without moving or defending himself...

Do you believe Herb should have waited a bit longer before stopping the fight? Because I was watching and worrying about Matyushenkos safety. Jones had that crucifix locked in and was delivering devastating elbows Matyushenko was not going anywhere.

Although Brock was getting dominated I don't think he was in as dangerous position as Matyushenko. I didn't seem to worry about Brock as much. Its kinda subjective so it's hard to explain but I believe Herb made the right call.

I am a good guy thanks lol

Who ever thinks the Jones fight was stopped early really needs to watch the Vera fight to see what Bones can do with his elbows.
