UFC on Fox: Payroll, Suspensions, Attendance and Live Gate

The final suspensions,pay and live attendance numbers rare in for the UFC’s first show on FOX. The only televised n the fight card saw Junior dos Santos capture the UFC Heavyweight title from Cain Velasquez via 64-second knockout. The co-main event, streamed on the UFC facebook page, saw Ben Henderson punch his ticket for a Lightweight title bout against UFC Champion Frankie Edgar.

Junior Dos Santos: $220,0000 ($110,000 plus $110,000 win bonus) vs. Cain Velasquez: $100,000
Ben Henderson: $60,000 ($30,000 plus $30,000 win bonus) vs. Clay Guida: $40,000
Dustin Poirier: $20,000 ($10,000 plus $10,000 win bonus) vs. Pablo Garza: $8,000

Clay Harvison: Suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact
Norifumi Yamamoto: Suspended 180 days with 180 days no contact due to possible left-finger fracture; can be cleared early by a physician
Darren Uyenoyama: Suspended 60 days with 60 days no contact due to left-eye laceration
Mackens Semerzier: Suspended 60 days with 60 days no contact due to scalp lacerations; suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact for precautionary reasons
Paul Bradley: Suspended 180 days with 180 days no contact due to possible left-elbow fracture; can be cleared early by a physician
Aaron Rosa: Suspended 180 days with 180 days no contact due to a possible left-wrist fracture; can be cleared early by a physician
Attendance and live gate:
Attendance at the Honda Center came in at 11,607 with a live gate of $1,072,187. Previous events at Honda Center have fared better attendance wise:

Not too good was the attendance...
Cain got robbed...not in the fight but on this payout....he was the champ he should have got alot more. but its still alot of money
Interesting and kind of strange that Dos Santos got paid more of an initial fee than the champ. I can think of two reason for this...
1. Cain was inactive for a year, so his market value dropped.
2. Or Junior has better management.
or they signed contracts before cain became champ? if it was a 4 fight contract it means he was getting 100k to take on bigben which would be pretty good.
Yeah must be a managment thing very good point @cranestyle. But I still think that ufc should have at least keep it at no more then the champ
But the champ should get the better money for defending the belt. I would have thought that a renegotiation of the old contract would be in order upon winning a title.
