The UFC kicked-off their broadcast partnership with the Fox network tonight, delivering a short-lived Heavyweight title clash from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Brazilian juggernaut Junior dos Santos delivered a vicious right-hand that sent defending champ Cain Velasquez crashing to the canvas in the opening round before finishing him off with a flurry of punches to capture the Heavyweight strap. The title bout, which lasted just 64-seconds, was preceded by a stellar undercard offering, which was capped off by a Lightweight showdown between former WEC stand-out Ben Henderson and veteran Clay Guida. Following a closely contested three-rounds of high-paced action, Henderson emerged victorious via unanimous decision and will now meet Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar at a yet to be determined date.

The UFC awarded generous $65,000 bonuses to the night's top performers, who were announced by Dana White immediately following the event.

Alex Caceres def. Cole Escovedo was my fav. fight of the night , Bruce Leroy looked awesome with his new found form and ground game..look for big things from him in the future, I think he needs a bit more power to go with that skill.

It was his first fight a LW, it took him some time to find his home, he has found it now.

I would have give the submission of the night to Poirier. Arm triangle is an easier submission than the D'arce choke.

Submitting Swanson is a harder job than Garza.
