Earlier today the UFC on Fox 3 pre-fight press conference had some entertaining statements by the fighters on Saturday night's card from New Jersey. Any UFC card that has Nate Diaz and Josh Koscheck on it is bound to have a good amount of trash talk. Much speculation has been made as to the true title implications of the May 5 card, with White earlier insinuating that Nate Diaz would earn a title shot with a win, however his opponent Jim Miller may not. When asked about this situation and if he would wait nine months for the shot, Nate Diaz bluntly replied,

“I got a fight on Saturday.”

The following inquirer asked him how annoyed he was at having to answer questions, to which he said:

“I don't hate the media. I think you guys are doing great.”

This drew a great laugh from the crowd. Diaz appeared to be reserved prior to his main event with Jim Miller. Miller was also quiet about all speculation, saying:

“I'm not going to sit here and try to predict what'll happen with a win or a loss.”

Of course Josh Koscheck was not shy to voice his true feelings, responding to the negativity of some fans by asking them:

“Keep booing me, please.”

White had earlier stated that Koscheck's opponent Johny Hendricks will get a title shot with a win, but not necessarily Koscheck. When probed about why he supposedly gets no respect even after dropping only one fight to Georges St. Pierre in his last six, he responded:

“As a fighter, you have good performances and you have bad ones. I plan on making Saturday night a good one, so when I put Johny to sleep in front of you guys on Fox, there'll be no booing."

Here is a complete listing of the card on Saturday, May 5:

Mike Massenzio vs. Karlos Vemola

I can't wait for the Barry vs Lavar fight! Even though it will only last about two minutes. To much power in there between the two to go the distance.

The only thing I respect about Koscheck is his fighting ability.

I wonder if Nick is going to be in his corner on fight night. He said that he was done, but that he would be there for his brother and his team.

He was in fact granted a second's license to be in Nate's corner.

The press conference helped remind me how arrogant Koscheck is.

Millions of fans have bought PPV, loving the sport and admiring many of the athletes.

Koscheck always seems to bite the hand that feeds him.

Thanks Dana for having GSP smash Koscheck !

Makes me cringe so badly when they ask to walk out, put the belt on etc. The fighter will truthfully want no part in it, he only wants trainers etc. and no distractions but at the same time he wants to be fan friendly. Props to Jim Miller stepping up when no one else would.

Also wtf was with that guy telling Pat Barry how he was feeling and how motivated he was? Some fans feel they know every single thought the fighter has.

It was too obvious that Pat wasn't volunteering. Probably choke him if he got to close for implying he wasn't motivated.
