UFC on FX 3 is over and delivered a very exciting main card. Ian McCall and Demetrious Johnson began tentatively until Johnson scored a double leg. McCall got up and pressed forward, but ate a huge right hand from Johnson. The two fighters got into a transitioning scramble as the first round wound down. Ian McCall continued to stalk Johnson as the second round began, and took him down. McCall land a nice combination, seemingly finding his range. A low blow caused a short break, after which McCall landed another double leg. He then hit Johnson with a spinning backfist. Johnson scored an early takedown in the third, and McCall recovered to land a big knee. Johnson finished the fight strong with strikes. Ultimately Demetrious Johnson took home the decision victory in a very close fight.

Erick Silva came out blazing as usual, nailing Charlie Brenneman with some early knees. Brenneman did score a few takedowns in the first, but Silva arose to throw some nice spinning back kicks. Eventually Silva turned a sprawl into an advantageous position, taking Brenneman's back and submitting him before the end of the very first round.

Mike Pyle took Josh Neer to the ground early throwing some ground-and-pound. Neer got up and landed a few shots, only to eat a few knees from Pyle. Near the end of the first round, Pyle caught with the oncoming Neer with a short right, knocking him out cold.

Eddie Wineland and Scott Jorgensen came out trading in a bloody fight. A huge cut was opened over Wineland's left eye by a knee. Jorgensen did score some takedowns, but could not keep Wineland down. Wineland kept hitting the right hand, rocking Jorgensen and eventually knocking him out in the second round. A great victory for Wineland as his first UFC win.

    Erick Silva is a beast!

good to see a real fighter not getting screw by LnP

    wrestler Brenneman .

sad that McCall lost but he had his chance and yes

Mighty Mouse won clear this time.

But is good in a way because he went home clean

no big damage and he can keep training , after all his still

at the top of the new Flyweight division

While Johnson is going to get KTFO by Benavidez

It doesn't matter who won because Benavidez

become the Champ as soon as they announce the Division

the guy is a beast he gave Dominick Cruz a run for his money

in their rematch , i will say he is even better than Faber.

Great event overall , looking forward to see Erick Silva

    and Benavidez vs Johnson!

I tend to agree but this is MMA. If you want to beat a wrestler, you have to have the ability to do it. E Silva is extremely strong, quick and young, that helps immensely.
