In less than two weeks, reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez will defend his title against Junior dos Santos in the main event of UFC's debut on FOX. The event will take place on November 12, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, co-headlined by the #1 Contender for the UFC Lightweight title bout between Clay Guida and Ben Henderson.

UFC on FOX Primetime follows Cain Velasquez and "Cigano" dos Santos in their preparations for what is without a doubt one of the biggest fights in the UFC history. The show also gives behind the scenes look at the lives of Velasquez and dos Santos, and the people behind their success as a Mixed Martial Artists.

Frankly, not the most exiting primetime i've seen. I think they've tried to make the fighters come off as good guys, and not thugs. And i guess they did that successfully, but it didnt make me particularly interested in the fight.

I think they should have stressed their skills a bit more. I think they've even stopped doing that in the live commentary now as well. I honestly think they undersell the fighters. In this case it should be made clear that the winner of this fight would defeat every other man on the planet (with the exception of maybe jon jones). This is the contest of the premier fighter on the planet, and possibly, because noone has ever had the type of training mma fighters have today, the premier fighter in the history of human kind. That, i think i a much cooler storyline than showing how nice these dudes are.

skills are shown in the octagon not on primetime. they want to show you, on how those guys work hard to be in that position. both of them came from a very hard life, can you even imagine dos santos dong the dishes? handwork pays off. And I'm not buying the PPV for this fight and I'm watching it live. if you find it boring just look forward for the fight, either way this is gonna be an awesome fight.

MMAoracle I have to disagree man. This fight is going live to a general audience, most of which have no knowledge of the sport. This primetime has to be appealing to that population so making it a more heart felt documentary does just that. Both these guys have come from nothing and now there superstars so I think it's a smart strategy of the UFC to work that angle. Either way I liked it and this is going to be a war.

Did he just say these two can beat anybody but jon jones? I want some of what he is on. Jones is good but he wouldnt last one round against either of these guys.

It is going to be the first time in my mixed martial arts fan career than i will find myself unable to pick a winner.

In terms of personality these two guys are champs. Cain's family story, hard working ethic, his hot wife an little girl. Its like little house in the prairie in Mexico.

Cigano looks like he's the nicest guy in Brazil, how can you not melt like a 14 year old schoolgirl when the guy smiles lol

In terms of skills, those guys are even. JDS's got better boxing and JJ and Cain's got better wrestling and Cardio. It all depends on wether this fight goes 5 rounds and who's better prepared.

I like them both and have no idea who's going to win.

Both of them worked their asses off to get where they are now. This is a very hard fight to call. JDS having great boxing technique and Cain having good cardio. Either way, someone's getting KTFO.

Until JDS demolished Carwin I'd have picked Cain but now I'm not so sure. JDS's boxing is better than I thought it to be and his movement for a HW is excellent. I agree with the post saying it's almost impossible to call a winner on this. Draw maybe?

Uhh yes you can have a draw. Edgar Maynard 2 was a title match and finished in a draw. In this scenario the champ will retain the belt but still not declared a winner.

I can see the out come now.

.. the referee announcing... Well it looks like Cecil Peoples filled the card out in crayon and scored Cain one million and drew what appears to be an unicorn breathing fire for JDS. I Guess its a draw.

I forget who has the longer reach, but this will be a standing war for most the fight. JDS scramble is too good to take numerous chances tackling him, have to also watch for his uppercut. Cain's wrestling is great, but you can't repeatedly dive at someone who stands back and throws baseball uppercuts. Perhaps nerves will limit one of them because of the others present ability... I dunno how this will turn out..
