The main event, and the only fight that will be televised on FOX, will see Cain Velasquez defend his UFC Heavyweight title against Junior dos Santos. The fight will mark the first title defense for Velasquez since winning the title from Brock Lesnar in October 2010. Dos Santos is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Shane Carwin in his last fight, which took place on June 11, 2011.

Open workouts took place on Thursday, November 10 and Bleacher Report was on hand to interview Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos and Ben Henderson.

If I were Dana, I wouldn't let Clay Guida serve as a first impression of the UFC on Fox, he bleeds non-stop and has served as some of the "bloody" UFC fights ever, why scare mainstream people that will view cage fighting for the first time?... thats bad pr for the sport since so many view it as "barbaric" "ruthless" and "gruesome." I'd also want the cage clean as the Heavyweights enter.

Agreed, even though i like him a lot, he might give a wrong image of the sport for a FOX debut for people who are getting introduced to it as a real and legit sport. Let's hope he doesn't burp too much.

your borderline mentally retarded with that one, one the fight wont be televised on fox. And two blood is something that mainstream is going to see eventually anyway why not have someone as well spoken and respectful as clay guida be the one to show them that its just blood and part of combat sports

After some long weeks having a hard time picking who i think will win... i think i finally have my prediction. I had Cain winning by decision because of his wrestling but then i decided to re watch some of their fights. And i noticed that Cain tends to exchange a little carelessly before he wants to shoot for a takedown. His hands are not always up. Plus i looked at the fighters that he has faced, and Cheick Kongo was the best stand up fighter of all of his opponents, and Cain seemed to have troubles getting close to him without getting hit bad. Once it was on the ground he was dominating, that's for sure. So JDS being so hard to take down, being so agile and having such fast and powerful hands, i'm finally leaning towards JDS to win by KO.

Anyway, i love em both so i'd be happy to see anyone win really. I just want this fight to be the war everybody's expecting.

The thing is if it goes the distance, JDS will get tired, not Cain so your first prediction is more realistic. Cain will not trade uncautiously with JDS so i dont think a quick KO wil happen.
