UFC The Movie???
Posted on February 23, 2010, 08:35 AM by Daniel CassidyDana White today officially announced that UFC have agreed a deal with NCM's Digital Broadcast Network which will have UFC 111 shown in cinema's across America. The UFC 111 card will be shown in high definition throughout the country:
"This is an opportunity to provide our fans with another cool way to watch UFC programming on the big-screen, live, in high-def and in surround sound," UFC president Dana White said. "UFC 111 has a stacked undercard, and St-Pierre vs. Hardy and Mir vs. Carwin are both title fights, so this is the perfect event to kick off our new deal with NCM Fathom"
The UFC 111 card will be headlined with GSP vs Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy, Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin, both of which are title fights.

actually a lot of cinemas today are making the push towards having a liquor license and with that the ability to serve beverages inside the theatres. a lot of movie theatres in Canada have already begun this.

Its a smart business move and just sayin that would be weird watchin it on such a big screen well looks like im goin to Asheville for UFC 111... or not im goin to BDUBs and get my GOD burger!!!

and what will they charge the 45 dlls of the PPV? or like a normal movie?
and will it be live? i mean at 8:00pm pacific time?
Might be cool for high school kids, but I like my fights with beer and wings.
