UFC Counters Strikeforce ShowPosted on May 13, 2010, 01:06 PM by Joey Santosus
Many fans have argued since, that WEC: Aldo vs Faber stands as the best pay-per-view of the year thus far. Well those who missed it will get a chance to catch the fight that has often been credited with the event's success this Saturday. Chan Sung Jung vs. Leonard Garcia, the under-card fight that set the tone, will be aired on SpikeTV at 10pm ET. Which will leave viewers with a decision to be made.
In what seems to be an attempt by the UFC to symie the success of rival promotion Strikeforce's Heavy Artillery, a new addition of "UFC's Ultimate Fights" is coming armed with some hardware of its own.
The 15 minute war between "Bad Boy" Garcia and "The Korean Zombie" has rightfully garnered a 2010 fight of the year nomination and will be broadcast along side additional never before televised bouts including Shane Carwin's UFC 111 victory over Frank Mir, as well as two match-ups from the UFC 112 card: Mark Munoz vs Kendall Grove and Terry Etim vs Rafael dos Anjos.
