the Velasquez - Silva fight seems more interesting - too unfamiliar for both to call, but i'm thinking Silva via stoppage 2nd round.
kudos to joe rogan for always finding a way to hype-up fights even the most abrupt ones such as the JDS - Mir bout; for a second there I was almost convinced that Mir had a chance, but no.
You r damn right! this guy joe rogan is a trashtalk machine...
By the way I wonder why they say: The new UFC heavyweight champion of the world...i mean why of the world? I mean when u are champion of the ufc you are the champ just on the ufc...but NOT of the world!! world is too big!
hahah I m always wondering why they say "of the world" as well.
In M1 global and other organisations they are goo fighters as well, and we never know who is the best until they actually fight.
But It sounds great to hear "of the world" ,it sounds more spectacualr
Hahahahaha you r damn right, it sounds more spectacualr !!! hahahaha!!
Mir is a great submision fighter, maybe the best at the heavyweight division.
But JDS is one of the best at stricking and thats the weak point of Mir (all of Mir's losses have come by KO/TKO).
I can't really imagine Mir tacking down JDS.
JDS he has good takedown defense, we have seen Cain and Carwin working on that and not being succesful at all.
I say JDS by TKO on round one or two but a great matchup anyway :)
I have not seen Cain trying to take JDS down, have you? lol
