Once again, Jon "Bones" Jones proved his superiority inside the Octagon, this time with a Unanimous Decision victory over Rashad Evans. Alexander "The Mauler" Gustafsson and Dan Henderson are expected to be next in line for the champ, but who has the best chance to dethrone "Bones"? Make your vote!

  1. 1. Gustafsson
  2. 2. Henderson
  3. 3. Jones is unbeatable

Well we all saw what trying to throw your right hand all night did; nothing. Rashad tried for that all night, came up short. The same thing would happen with Hendo. But, I think if Hendo pushed and took some damage, knowing he can, he'd have a better shot at winning. If he stays on the outside, well, we all know what happens when you face a sniper with a knife.

I believe Gustaffson has a better chance of winning Jones because of his footwork, precise striking, and good takedown defence. The reach adventage is not gonna be very big for Jones as well. Jones has problems with fighters who has a good footwork. So far only Machida used his footwork to get Jones nervous.

Idk about Gus' Takedown defense, if Gus can prove thats up I got him beating Jones.

Gus took Thiago Silva's best punch and carried on, he did get stunned in the following round but he recovered well and continued.

Hendo can knock out anyone but I dont feel like relying on that overhand right to fulfill my dreams of Jones getting knocked out.

Gus has very good striking, and if he had Jones' reach he'd be knocking people out left and right.

Gus has some dirty TDD and he claims after training with Davis that his TDD has improved by a crazy amount.

Nobody's unbeatable, but there's no way in hell I'm picking Hendo or Alex to beat Jones. He's a 10-1 favorite over either, and rightfully so. Doesn't mean they CAN'T beat him, but they have a very very slim chance.

Yeah, Gustafsson may be your last hope, bro. That said, if they ever fought, he would also earn his beatdown just like the rest of them, sorry. Good luck with that one. By the way, just in case you might consider betting against Jones when Dan Henderson gets his "title Shot" (Cough, cough, beatdown) so please don't forget to let me know so we can bet.

I want to see Dan Henderson lose again, so I really hope he gets his title shot. Please give it to Dan, DW.

    Nobody is unbeatable.

Fedor reigned supreme in Pride, and many said he was unbeatable, but fighters and fighting evolved, and he got beaten. Same thing will happen to Jones sooner or later.

Right now he's the most highly evolved fighter in the UFC, and he's young, so he's still evolving. But I don't think it will take long for some young, smart fighter to figure him out and knock or tap him out..

I say Gustavsson has the best chance right now, because he's young and willing and able to evolve. The "old school" fighters just stand a punchers chance, but I wouldn't bet my money on any of them.

At the moment there isn't anyone in the UFC LHW-division that can beat Jones. But I think there is a whole bunch of newbreed fighters in the world that could.

Fighting is evolving very quickly now a days, the fighters in the UFC aren't. Except Bones

I think Gustavsson will b the new LHW champion .. Jones has tremendous reach advantage over most fighters ... Gustavasson.. is the same height as Jones .. Jones reach wont b as affective with a taller fighter if Gustavsson fight aggressive keep the pressure on Jones he will win

In Gustafsson's next fight I feel we will see him show more of his potential

He has been playing it relatively safe

but I predict he will really be the Mauler in his next fight

and show why he has the best chance at beating Jones.

Though I love Dan, Jones will ragdoll him and put a royal butt whipping on him

too old, too short, too slow

which all adds up to no chance

AS is the only one I see being able to do the damage required, with enough evasiveness and an ability to survive the incoming punishment.

Surprised people are giving Hendo a bigger chance than Gus, Hendo reallly only has a slight chance of landing his H-Bomb in the first couple of rounds... apart from that there isn't really much chance for him to win.

After watching the fight with Evans, I still feel the person at LHW with the best chance would be Machida. He got caught once by Jones and it was all downhill from there, but I think if he could utilize his game a little bit longer, he could slow down Jones enough to start picking his shots. Even then though, the odds are seriously against him.

Not until we see Davis vs Gustafsson, if this fight ever happens.
