UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit Video Trailer
Posted on January 15, 2012, 11:54 AM by Joey SantosusThe interim title will be up for grabs when top Welterweight contenders Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit go head to head in the UFC 143 headlining bout, set for February 4th from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Also featured will be a Heavyweight showdown between TUF 10 winner Roy "Big Country" Nelson and returning UFC veteran Fabricio Werdum, as well as a Welterweight clash pitting Josh Koscheck against Mike Pierce.

Can't wait for that fight. Dream fight right here. Both are extremely talented and durable, and are very agressive. I don't see a finish happening, more of a 5 round war. This is the kind of match-up that makes me a fan of MMA.
Love Condit but I think Diaz is going to take this one. Anyway they both deserve the belt!
Hoping for Condit in this but I'd like to see Diaz-GSP, just makes for a way more interesting matchup since he's the only guy as of late that can actually get under GSPs skin.
Agreed. That's the only pitfall of this bout, one guy will be eliminated from contention for the time being. I would have preferred to see each of them challenge GSP.

This has fight of the year written all over it. This is going to be a war, standing up or on the ground. Other than Nate Diaz, Nick and Carlos Condit are my 2 favorite fighters. I can't wait for this, and I think both have a chance at potentially beating Georges St Pierre especially with his long break. I am not cheering for one or the other im just cheering for this to be the best fight.

I see this one the same way as xcity. With the exception of Condit being a better all around talent when compared to the Cowboy.
I don't think that Condit will be afraid to go to the ground with Nick though.
It's like Condit says, "It's gonna be a dogfight!! I hope that Diaz can pull this one out and get that shot at GSP.
