UFC 142: Countdown to UFC Rio Aldo vs. Mendes video
Posted on January 11, 2012, 05:13 PM by Trent ReinsmithUFC 142 will take place this Saturday, January 14. The card will mark the UFC’s return to Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The main event of the card will feature a Featherweight title fight between UFC champion Jose Aldo and the undefeated Chad Mendes.
The co-main event of the evening will see Anthony Johnson moving up from Welterweight to Middleweight to face Vitor Belfort.
The UFC has released a “Countdown” video for the event that focuses on the two fighters that will participate in the main event from the HSBC Arena in Rio.

I was in person in the first UFC Rio and you could see most foreign figthers defeated before the figth just by walking thru the roaring crowd, this will have an impact on Chad for sure...home field advantage is very real.

seems like the goal to be a successful member of the Team Alpha male is to be and look like urijar stylistically and physically.lol dnt get me wrong, I love the team. Even tho Mendez is not as explosive as urijar or Joseph(IMO) but watching urijar and horminic performances against him will definitely give him an edge..but then again, fighting in Brazil will be to Aldos advantage...May the best man win!hopefully Mendez!
