UFC 142: Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes Extended Preview

The card is co-headlined by Anthony "Rumble" Johnson's Middleweight debut against Vitor Belfort, in what could easily become one of the most entertaining fights of 2012.
UFC 142 main card also features the Lightweight collision between Edson Barboza and Terry Etim, Rousimar Palhares vs. Mike Massenzio, and Erick Silva vs. Carlo Prater.

Agreed. I would be shocked if we saw any other result to this fight.
Rumble still has a chance has great kicks and good wrestling.
Somebody call a retirement home because once Rumble Johnson defeats Belfort there will be no where else for Vitor to go. Anderson already made him look like a fool and a move back to 205 after this loss isn't in his best interests. Whether you like it or not Vitor will retire by 2013 and you heard it here first.
i think a lot of people are underestimating AJ in his fight against vitor.
hes gunna be a lot bigger in middleweight and have a strength advantage against vitor. plus vitor will be hesitant to rush in because of johnsons strong wrestling.
im not saying AJ will definately win but i think he has more of a chance than most people are giving him
Vitor is becoming a little bit ****y. But I hope he does win. I hope that Aldo will Knock out Mendes before one of the take down. It would be bad to have mendes as the champion

Because it would be another "gsp" , with take down and controls on the floor... A little bit boring.
Chael is like that as well ,but at least he is hilarious when he talks. so it would still be entertaining to have him as a champion ,but mendes and gsp are nice and respectful persons ,so their interviews are not funny at all. And their fighting style isnt unpredictable

Etim vs Barboza jr is going to be a good fight. Fun card hope it lives up.
Ya I think that is going to be fight of the night, also, Aldo is a beast n one of my fav fighters I think he will stop Mendes, Aldo has faced grapplers before n faced strong tough guys n he has done extremely well against them n I dont see how Aldo wont excel against Mendes
Basically Aldo is Chris Brown and Mendes is Rhianna.
