UFC 141: Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem Extended Preview

The fight will determine the identity of the next challenger for Junior dos Santos' belt, as the co-main eventers Donald Cerrone and Nate Diaz fight for their place in the mix for a shot at the UFC Lightweight title.

Joes been Reemed. Guess we'll see if Reem can stand up to Joe's hype, thats a pretty tall order. Looking forward to this fight. Hope Brocks been working on his strikes, he'll have to use them to set up his takedowns.
Brock's straight right is pretty solid, hes rocked a few guys with it.

Lesnar is not going to submit Reem, we all know what his gameplan is.
Cerrone vs Diaz is really the fight i'm looking forward to the most. This is going to be a crazy fight between two complete fighters, not just a striker vs wresltler good ol match up.
If/when Overeem gasses he could get submitted....

If anything it was more of Brock's size that neutralised Mirs BJJ and he submitted a very gassed out Carwin(Gassed out being the operative word). Overeem will smash Lesnar before he gets a chance to use his mediocre BJJ and then its bye bye Lesnar straigh to WWE where he really belongs
I think the point made is no-one saw that arm triangle coming. Hell we didnt even know he had trained and learned that. Im sure hes learned a few others. Who knows Brock could win this. Overeem is another "no easy fight" he can add to his record.

Nate Diaz is a crazy mofo. A guy who is in your weightclass is trying to be nice to you. You never met him and you call him a punkass and walk off. Nate Diaz is a crazy dude.
The only thing I fear for Nate is a vicious high kick to the head. Nates not the fastest guy around. I think Cerrone will be too fast for him.
What a hater slapping Cerrone's hand for a shake, Cowboy gonna bring it to him now. Like he said, you dont need to be from Stockton to have that mentality.

Brock fight could go either way just depends if overeem can defend a takedown. Cerrone vs Diaz is the real fight I'm going with cerrone on this one he just looks to good lately to lose and looks pretty pissed off.. He was pissed in the second Varner fight and just smashed him I'm goin 2nd rd tko for the cowboy
too much hype, now 90% chance that reems made a fool of himself because they clearly asked him to talk shit up, he either gets a round1 ko or his stock goes down
Joe saying Overeem is by FAR the best striker Brock has faced.
That seems like a slap in the face to Cain and every other UFC fighter. Lets not forget, this isn't the first time we've seen Joe hype things up only to look silly afterwards. Joe better hope Reem dismantles Brock quickly.
You say thats its a slap in the face, but when you really think about it you have only seen Cain show good stand up against 1 decent HW that can strike and that was Big Nog. The other two were Kongon and JDS, Kongo dropped Cain with ease to be honest and Cain HAD to use his wrestling to win and we all saw what happend against JDS. Joe Rogan is a HUGE kickboxing fan and K1 fan so its no surprise he hold the K1 GP champ in such high regard. I think people need to remember that this video is all about HYPE so what the hell do people expect Joe or Dana to say. The moajority of marketing and promoting the UFC do isn't for the hardcore fans WE need to bear that in mind when watching these videos.

Diaz is a punk just like his brother! They can fight though... so it will be an exciting fight to watch! I think that his mouth is too big for this fight though... Cerrone is gonna put him to sleep!
I also think Brock is gonna have a real tough time getting this one to the ground! Overeem is gonna be putting too many punches in his face and he will go down and cover up again! Reem is gonna KO that big D-Bag in my opinion!
Brock needs to control the fight start to finish. He got caught by both Carwin and Cain but I honestly think he got saved by the bell in the Carwin fight. However Reem didn't look so convincing against Werdum who as we all remember was knocked out by Junior. Fight can go either way but i see Reem stopping Brock in the 2nd. Nate is a punk, i know personally cuz i am from Stockton and he does show his face around more then Nick does but he I can say Nate's as much of a punk ass as Nick. Cowboy's speed is gonna be too much for Nate, his only chance is catching Cowboy for a tap....
