Multi-time MMA Champion Urijah “The California Kid” Faber will return to action on November 19th, fighting the former WEC Bantamweight Champion Brian Bowles at UFC 139. The fight will be featured on the main card portion of the night, alongside the co-main event attraction between Wanderlei Silva and Cung Le, and the headlining bout between Dan Henderson and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

In his last bout, Faber went toe-to-toe with the reigning UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz, losing via a very close Unanimous Decision. In the eyes of many, Faber was the better man that night, but the ringside judges had thoughts of their own.

Since then, 25-5 Urijah Faber not only re-doubled his efforts in training, but also participated in the highly successful K-Swiss Tubes commercial. With help of the almighty CEO Kenny Powers, Faber discovered the power of the Tubes, with sights on securing another shot at the Bantamweight title with a victory over Brian Bowles. Just to get more understanding about the Tubes, here's part of a short review I found on thesweataddict.com:

There are shoes that push innovation to its best, and K-Swiss’ Tubes Run 100 is one of it. As a former avid basketball player, I would liken the Tubes to the Nike Air series of basketball shoes. What Nike Air did to basketball shoes, K-Swiss now tries to duplicate with running footwear, and based on my feet’s experience with it, it is bound to succeed.

K-Swiss, as a company, is not known in a sport dominated by Adidas and Nike, but with their recent offerings, they’ll be on top of our sport for sure. They just crossed the finish line first, with the Tubes.

The California Kid has without a doubt one of the most impressive records in Mixed Martial Arts today, with 13 Submission and 7 KO/TKO out of 25 career victories on his record. Against Bowles, Faber will look to extend his reign of terror inside the Octagon, and make a statement that he’s still on track to capture the UFC Bantamweight title. The chances are just higher with the K-Swiss Tubes.

It's kinda hinting back to the days of old when you were a kid until about 30. You weren't a man yet at 25 years old a century ago for some cultures. He still looks a bit like a kid anyways. Regardless he's a fighting masterpiece in the cage by almost any standards.
