Posted on October 21, 2011, 10:10 PM by Trent Reinsmith
We are a little over a week from UFC 137 and if you thought that the card was finally set in stone, well, as the latest fight poster says, “expect the unexpected.” That’s right, another change has taken place to the October 29 fight card.
Brad Tavares is out of his main card bout against UFC newcomer Dustin Jacoby due to an undisclosed injury. In Tavares’ place will be Clifford Starks another fighter that will make his UFC debut at the Manadaly Bay Events Center next Saturday.
The Jacoby versus Starks fight will be moved to the Facebook streamed portion of the card while the Jeff Curran versus Scott Jorgensen fight will be elevated to the pay per view card.
At this moment the UFC 137 card will be:
Pay Per View:
Nick Diaz vs. B.J. Penn
Cheick Kongo vs. Matt Mitrione
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson
Jeff Curran vs. Scott Jorgensen
Spike TV:
Donald Cerrone vs. Dennis Siver
Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski
Facebook:
Eliot Marshall vs. Brandon Vera
Danny Downes vs. Ramsey Nijem
Chris Camozzi vs. Francis Carmont
Dustin Jacoby vs. Clifford Starks

this card just keeps getting crapped on
I liked that matchup better than the tavares one anyways, sucks he had to get pulled but I don't think it hurts the main card really
This looked to be card of the year but with these 2 injuries I don't think it will be, not on paper anyway.
Gutted that Tavares is out aswell I was looking forward to him coming back for a win!
Sucks still a good card
Scott Jorgenson vs Jeff Curran is a better fight than Brad Tavares vs Dustin Jacoby anyway.
Donald Cerrone should get main card status !
Wow Brandon Vera on Facebook card................Interesting. He's lucky he still in the UFC.
