UFC 137 promised and delivered an absolute war tonight from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. B.J. Penn and Nick Diaz went toe to toe for the duration of the 15-minute headliner, leaving one another battered and bloodied en-route to a unanimous decision victory for "The Stockton Bad Boy." In the co-main event, Cheick Kongo extended his unbeaten streak to four, outworking Matt Mitrione to hand the up and comer his first defeat, while Roy Nelson scored a third-round TKO stoppage over Mirko  "Cro Cop" Filipovic to get back in the win column. Former Bantamweight title challenger Scott Jorgensen remained perfect in the UFC, taking a decision over Jeff Curran and Japanese superstar Hatsu Hioki defeated George Roop in his promotional debut.

The UFC awarded generous $75,000 bonuses to the night's top performers, who were announced by Dana White immediately following the event.

You're right about that against most fighters at welterweight except GSP...in my opinion. Also, I have a new found respect for Cerrone. He messed up my main parlay. I chose Vera(close call), Palazweski, SIVER(should have left that one alone), Big Country, and Kongo. I thought Diaz would win but tend to feel skeptical about betting against BJ. After thought, maybe Big Country should fight 205.

Performance of the night for me was Cerrone, he was awesome, so quick and sharp on the feet, and took the choke so quickly as soon as siver dropped to his front. I was impressed with him against Oliveira but seeing him outstrike Siver so well, I'd like to see him fight Lauzon to climb up the division, or Guillard would be an amazing fight.
