Reigning Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar scored a dramatic fourth-round knockout victory over Gray Maynard in the headlining bout, bringing an end to the trilogy and retaining the 155-pound strap. Also successful in their title defense was Featherweight champ Jose Aldo, who outpointed Kenny Florian in co-main event, while Chael Sonnen was triumphant in return, securing a second-round submission victory over Brian Stann. TUF 12 alumni Nam Phan avenged his his loss to Leonard Garcia, out-striking him to take the nod on the judges' scorecards and Joe Lauzon choked out Melvin Guillard in the main card opener.

Card of the year
wtf joe won 47 mins of round one what did i miss this sounds amazing a 47 min one round fight?
Learn how to read ! It's 0.47 Mins of RD 1 ! That means 47 seconds !
I thought Edgar vs. Maynard was fight of the night, but I can see how Phan vs. Garcia got it. I just don't appreciate Garcia's wild brawling style as much as most people. I think a good technical back and forth fight like the main event is more worthy of fight of the night.
I agree. However, since Edgar was the only fighter to win via KO, he was obviously going to get that bonus, so they probably figured the Phan vs Garcia fight was good enough to give it to instead of giving Edgar two bonuses...
awesome card. edgar's a beast, props to phan, he deserves the 75k way to represent vietnamese
@moots thas because edgar already got ko of the night. but yea that was pretty sweet fight too.
Yeah I've seen finish and fight of the night go to the same person, but you are probably right it was to spread the love a bit to Nam and Garcia too.
Oops, I replied up there to this and you've already addressed a similar response here.
